Golden Apple Scholars of Illinois
The Golden Apple Scholars of Illinois program prepares aspiring teachers to teach by providing intensive instruction, tuition assistance, placement services, and mentoring services to ensure that teachers are ready on day one of teaching and grow to become highly-effective teachers. The program recruits high school seniors, college freshmen and sophomores, and community college students who commit to teaching for 5 years in an Illinois school-of-need.
