ESSA Conference/Multilingual Illinois Conference 2022

The Multilingual Illinois conference and the annual statewide Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) conference will combine once again this school year. The combined Multilingual & ESSA Conference will take place virtually from February 22nd through 25th, 2022.
The virtual conference will feature:
Four engaging keynote presentations:
Dr. Marcus J. Belin, 2021 NASSP Digital Principal of the Year; with Dr. Carmen I. Ayala, Superintendent of Education at ISBE
Nestor “The Boss” Gomez, award-winning storyteller
Mariana Souto-Manning, PhD, President of Erikson Institute
Zaretta Hammond, MA, author, consultant and expert on Culturally Responsive Teaching
70 live breakout sessions
80 pre-recorded presentations
Live Zumba or Yoga early morning sessions
Mid afternoon cultural “coffee breaks”
New for 2022: Two Administrator Academies and two Information Sessions for ISBE Targeted Schools
The conference fee of $325 grants access to all of these sessions, as well as post-conference access to all of the video recordings until June 30, 2022.
