Applications Now Open: Educator Advisory Council
Advance Illinois is now accepting applications for the 2025–2027 Educator Advisory Council (EAC)! The EAC brings together passionate educators from across Illinois to inform policy, strengthen advocacy efforts, and build a more equitable education system. Apply by August 30 for priority consideration.
Illinois Education and Care under Federal Policy Shifts: Impact Narratives Project
Advance Illinois is working to document and uplift the impact that federal orders and actions have had on Illinois’ learners and on those providing education and care so that others gain greater insight into what is happening and how our system, the people who power it, and the people served by it are being affected but also responding to the changes.

The ISACorps of near-peer mentors are available to assist students and families with their financial aid applications. Students can book a virtual one-on-one meeting with an ISACorps staff member at www.isac.org/booking. Bookings are available up to 7 days in advance, and there's an option to meet with a Spanish-speaking member.
The ISAC College Q&A text messaging service, available in both English and Spanish, allows students to get answers to questions about college planning and financial aid and receive alerts about college planning events and deadlines. To use the service, students simply text their first and last name to:
