SUMMARY: Supply Giveaway!
DESCRIPTION: Dear Golden Apple Scholars & Fellows,  I am a '97 Fellow and a 2nd grade teacher at Sprague Elementary School in Lincolnshire. As seems to be the case with many schools, many items in our classrooms were boxed up and placed in pods during COVID. We plan to unload those pods and get rid of things we no longer need.  In short, we have a lot of free STUFF that we are hoping might find good homes with you. The pods haven't even been unloaded yet, and we already have a bunch of boxed items in our gym waiting for your perusal. Sprague is a K-2 building, so many of our donations are at that grade level. However, our middle school has also dropped some donations off at our building. We have everything from general school supplies (glue, markers, crayons, folders, etc.) to math manipulatives and games to loads of books, many of them multiple copies. (We are cleaning out our book room.) Hard to say what else we will accumulate once the storage pods are emptied. Treasures are yours for the taking! I am making myself available at Sprague on the follow days/times for anyone to come up, shop and take any donations they would like and can use: Friday, July 8th ... 1-4 pmMonday, July 11th ... 9am - noonMonday, August 8th ... 2-4pm   We just want these items to end up in good hands, and I figure, who could use these types of items more than those of you teaching in at need schools? We will then begin another round of collecting and we will be driving a 2nd truckload of any leftover donations off at Scarce on August 10th. I hope that many of you will be able to use the items that we have for donation.
