DESCRIPTION: I hope you are enjoying this taste of Springtime we are experiencing!!  I am reaching out to let you know that Pilot Light has 2 available opportunities for teachers in your network for the ‘23-’24 school year. Both programs are free to schools and offer stipends to participating teachers. Applications are open now through 5/22/23 for the Food Education Fellowship and AgEd & Advocacy at this link.  We would be grateful if you would share this information with alumni and teachers in the Golden Apple family! Food Education Fellowship - a year-long program for PreK-12 teachers 25+ hours of professional development on Food Education Standards from industry experts + 1:1 support and coaching with Pilot Light staff & peers Eligible for CPDU credits $2,000 stipend for participation and evaluation + $250 for classroom materials AgEd & Advocacy- CPS ONLY - Fall ‘23 semester-long program for 6-8th grade teachers 10+ hours of professional development on Agriculture Education featuring NGSS-aligned lessons & culminating in a Student Advocacy Project Eligible for CPDU credits $1,000 stipend for participation and evaluationIf you have any questions about Pilot Light, the programs, or the applications, we are happy to share more! Thank you,Eileen
